Lopatcong Township School District is a public school district located in Warren County New Jersey that serves approximately 900 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The district is made up of two schools, the elementary school at 57,240 square feet and the middle school at 99,000 square feet. Making a difference has been my own personal goal for the past three years while serving as director of facilities.

Ms. Laurie Wiegand-Jackson is the Immediate Past President of AEE and the President of Utility Advantage, an energy service consulting company, and North America Power Partners, a premier demand response provider in the US . She organized the Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) at AEE and has been an active member of AEE’s New Jersey Chapter since 1995.
Laurie Wiegand-Jackson, president, North America Power Partners LLC (NAPP), was recently honored at the Executive Women of New Jersey’s (EWNJ) 2008 “Salute to the Policy Makers” Awards Dinner. This biennial event recognizes professional women of distinction throughout the state who are either members of boards of directors or senior executives at major New Jersey-based organizations and corporations.

On July 31, 2008, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) held a Demand Response Webcast to discuss opportunities for industrial facilities to earn a revenue stream as a demand source. The Webcast focuses on current issues driving the development of demand response across the United States including energy cost and reliability, sustainability, measurement and verification requirements, and developing a facility as a demand resource.
