Moorestown, NJ- Held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Globalcon 2010 provided a great opportunity for NAPP’s President, Laurie Wiegand-Jackson, to talk about the benefits of demand response. These benefits include reduced energy costs, increased potential energy efficiency, and environmental benefits. The event also provided a chance for NAPP’s customers, such as a NJ School District, to give testimonials based on their past experiences with NAPP’s Demand Response programs.

Along with Ms. Wiegand-Jackson, there were a number of speakers participating in the event. The speakers included David Ellis, Sr. Vice President of Business Development for Comverge; Susan Covino, Manager of Demand Side Response for PJM; and Ron Marinelli, Director of Facilities at Lopatcong Township School District. The speakers answered questions and provided insight on PJM’s DR programs. They also discussed the role of technology in terms of developing reliable demand response programs, providing their outlook on the future of demand response and its impact on the development of a Smart Grid.

The event took place on March, 25, 2010 and was held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, located in Center City Philadelphia. For questions about the event, NAPP’s Demand Response programs, or the Company, feel free to call us at 856.439.0800 or email us at info@nappartners.com.
