Laurie Wiegand-Jackson, President, North America Power Partners (NAPP), was recently awarded a prestigious Distinguished Service Award. The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a nonprofit professional Association of over 9,000 members, presented the award to Ms. Wiegand-Jackson at the 31st World Energy Engineering Congress in Washington, DC. This AEE event is recognized as the most important energy event of national scope for end users and energy professionals in all areas of the energy field. The award recognized her for distinguished service in promoting the practices, principles and procedures of energy engineering, and for superior service to the Association.
Ms. Laurie Wiegand-Jackson is the Immediate Past President of AEE and the President of Utility Advantage, an energy service consulting company, and North America Power Partners, a premier demand response provider in the US . She organized the Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) at AEE and has been an active member of AEE’s New Jersey Chapter since 1995.
