Sales Executive, Western Region - California

Description

Enter the world of Green Energy and Energy Management Solutions as an Outside Sales Rep for a leading Demand Response provider. You will be selling Demand Response (DR) energy programs to industrial (manufacturing), commercial (office buildings), and government (mainly cities) organizations. Our California sales office is located in Newport Beach, but NAPP Outside Sales Reps work out of their homes and the Newport Beach Office.

Our Product: DR programs involve the temporary reduction or shift of electrical usage by a business or institution to offset occasional and temporary demand spikes or supply shortfalls on an electric utility’s grid system. Customers willing to participate in a DR program earn recurring monthly revenues for their willingness to be available when needed to reduce demand – essentially offering their unused capacity as a resource to its utility. Customers’ revenues – commonly referred to as “capacity payments" or “capacity revenues" – are earned monthly whether or not they are called upon to reduce their energy consumption. The value of each customer’s revenue is based on the committed monthly load reduction (kW) and the maximum number of times that the customer is willing to be called upon in a month.
